Early Intervention – Teacher (.75 FTE)
We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our dynamic team of professionals to provide early intervention/Birth to 3 services throughout Dane County as a .75 Early Intervention – Teacher.
More than just a name, UCP’s goal is to serve families caring for children with a wide range of disabilities and delays. Birth to 3 Connections provides early intervention and family-centered services for young children under the age of 3 who have developmental disabilities or delays. Services are provided in the child’s and family’s natural environment, which may include their home and other community settings. This program supports Dane County communities outside the Madison Metropolitan School District.
Strong candidates will have direct working experience with early intervention, strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and a history of working cooperatively with others.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary coach for families on caseload
- Conduct evaluations and assessments as necessary
- Develop individualized family service plans
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field required
- WI Teaching License to cover Early Childhood Special Education strongly preferred
- A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, liability coverage and a personal vehicle is required for this position.
